Breckland Medical Services Ltd. (BMS) is your local first aid and medical training provider based in the heart of Norfolk.  We have modern classroom facilities at Wayland House on the High Street in the market town of Watton.  But we are also able to bring the training to a location of your choice, as we are skilled in providing our services in a variety of venues. BMS only uses very experienced instructors many of whom are medical professionals in their own right, such as Specialist Nurses and Paramedics.  BMS first aid courses can be tailored to meet the specific needs and requirements of your company, interest group or club.  We will even arrange specialist training for a family with specific interest such as caring for a child or adult at home.

BMS aims to provide professional training with value for money from our completely up to date training facility at our Wayland House headquarters; it includes full audio visual training aids. Wayland House has ample parking and disabled access.

Denise Kindleysides: RGN RSCN

I was born and bred in Norfolk. I have been nursing for 35 years as a Registered General Nurse and Registered Sick Children’s Nurse.
I have been an Instructor for 30 years mainly for the British Red Cross, but also for British Heart Foundation and other private training providers.
I was employed recently for 3 years by British Red Cross as a trainer and first aid specialist. This was to train members of BRCS to become trainers, and had a lead specialist in Manual Handling.
Currently I work as a Lead Paediatric Nurse with a private healthcare provider.
With this experience I would like to be able to provide high quality training in first aid and medical services, that is up to date and appropriate for the local community, ranging from private individuals to large commercial concerns. I see BMS as a first class alternative choice to some of the larger more impersonal training providers.

John Daly: Paramedic

I am a Londoner by birth but lived in Norfolk for almost 20 years.  I spent 26 years working in Air Traffic Control of which 23 of those were with the Royal Air Force.
I joined East Anglian Ambulance services NHS Trust in 1999 working in the control centre and as ambulance crew, still working as a front line Paramedic for the NHS today.  All Paramedics have to be registered with the Health Professional Council (HPC) to be entitled to use that title. I have additional specialist qualifications in trauma life support and paediatrics.
My instructional experience is over 30 years in various disciplines with the RAF, Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and a variety of commercial and voluntary organisations such as the Air Training Corps, British Red Cross and British Heart Foundation.
My aim now is to be able to use that vast experience to benefit the commercial and private community by making good quality medical and first aid training easily accessible and affordable to everyone in the local area.
